Adam Wilhelm, BSN, RN
Adam comes to Hickory House Recovery with almost 20 years of experience in various nursing roles. As the Director of Nursing, Adam is responsible for overseeing the nursing team and the care provided. Adam shares the philosophy that Hickory House is a place where individuals can come for safe, intimate, holistic mental healthcare for substance abuse disorders.
Adam’s belief that substance abuse touches all of us closely in one way or another is his daily motivation to help clients embrace recovery, set personal goals and regain a healthy lifestyle. Adam finds the most rewarding part of his work is seeing the change in clients that graduate from the Hickory House Recovery program. Seeing people at their worst during the intake process, guiding them safely through the obstacles, watching as they slowly regain their health and graduate with a sense of optimism is very rewarding. Adam strives to bring integrity, honesty, grace, accountability, and courage to his role.
Adam enjoys spending time with his family and 3 dogs, boating, golf, church, listening to and playing music and reading.
