The Chalet offers a warm, homelike environment with plenty of open outdoor space to relax and focus on recovery.
The Chalet’s front community porch provides a shaded space for residents to enjoy time together. Smoking is permitted.
The Chalet’s front porch is furnished with patio chairs and gas fireplaces, creating a warm and inviting space for residents to use year-round.
The Chalet’s courtyard features a stone fire pit with Adirondack chairs, allowing residents to enjoy outdoor bonfires while connecting with fellow Hickory House Recovery members.
Basketball Court – Hickory House Recovery’s courtyard boasts a full-size outdoor basketball court for residents to enjoy outdoor recreation and friendly, yet competitive, pickup games.
Hickory Garden – During the spring, summer, and fall months, be a part of our chef’s therapeutic garden-to-table program by cultivating the Hickory Garden as an additional form of therapy.
Gather on comfy couches in the resident living room to enjoy space to read, play board games, or watch movies.
Our resident living room also features three desktop computers for residents to surf the internet during the time between group and individual therapy sessions.
Residents have a designated dining area to gather for breakfast, lunch, and dinner around comfortable circular tables. A coffee and snack bar are available for grab-and-go refills throughout the day.
Chef Haley and her kitchen team prepare healthy meals and snacks for residents daily in the onsite kitchen, using produce grown in our own Hickory Garden.
In the Hickory Administration building, residents can attend therapy in our designated group rooms.
Therapists and counselors work onsite daily and have comfortable offices to provide integrated individual counseling sessions for residents.
Each recovery bedroom is equipped with ensuite bathrooms and showers for resident convenience and privacy.
Each recovery bedroom features a semi-private, furnished patio to allow residents freedom to access the outdoor courtyard area at their leisure. Smoking is permitted on patios.
Our onsite gym and fitness center provides access to cardio equipment, cable machines, free weights, and a sauna for residents to achieve a full mind and body recovery while at Hickory House Recovery.
Adjacent to the gym, Hickory House Recovery has an onsite yoga and meditation room. Residents have the option to attend yoga and meditation therapy hosted by a licensed instructor.
Our therapists are willing to chat with residents whenever they feel the need to talk. Our therapists and counselors are here to help.
Our resident living room is a gathering place for all to connect and bond with fellow residents on their recovery journey.
